Hardy Annual
Two to four feet.
Flowers white and yellow, July to September.
A genus of ten species of annuals and perennial
poppies. A bold grower with prickly , deep cut,
glaucous veined leaves and poppy-shaped flowers.
Sow in the open ground in March and April thinning
out the seedlings to required distances.
A light dry soil and a sunny position are required.
Staking is unnecessary and may damage the succulent
stems. Deadheading improving subsequent flowering.
