Two sorts: bicolour, white and blue flowers; cœrlea,
blue; July to September.
A pretty perennial for the herbaceous or mixed
border, with blossoms resembling a cornflower.
Plants should be put out in March, or seed may
be sown in June, the seedlings transplanted when
large enough, and moved into their final quarters
in October.
