Crucianella
Stylosa
Hardy Perennial
Six inches.
Flowers rose-pink, in July and August.
A low-growing perennial, forming a mat or cushion,
covered with close heads of small pink flowers.
It prefers a dry soil, and is most at home among
stones or rock-work. Seed may be sown in May or
June in light soil, transplanted when necessary,
and put into final positions in autumn. If only
a few specimens are needed, plants ready for putting
out may be obtained from any grower of perennials.
