Golden
Feather – Pyrethrum Parthenifolium
Hardy Perennial.
Four to nine inches.
A foliage plant, not grown for its flowers.
A bedding-out foliage plant, familiar even unto
contempt at the present day. In the elaborate
works of ribbon and geometrical gardening it is
an indispensable material. It is perennial, but
gives the best results if raised as a tender annual
on heat in March, pricked out, hardened, and planted
out finally in May.
