Helichrysum
Hardy Annual.
Two to three feet.
Flowers in several colours. July to August.
The best of the several sorts of “Everlastings”.
The flowers are double and incurved, of a dry
stiff texture, and if cut at their best and kept
carefully (without water) they will last and retain
their looks through the winter, and as long as
is convenient.
Their colours include white, yellow, purplish
red, rose and crimson.
The seed should be sown on nicely prepared soil
early in April; the seedlings may be transplanted
or thinned and left in the seed bed.
