A tender plant with a shrubby growth, perennial
under glass and used (though not very frequently)
as a summer bedder.
It may be raised from seed
sow on a moderate hot-bed in March, brought on
in the manner of the half-hardy annuals, and put
out after the risk of frost is fairly past.
