Rhodanthe
Half Hardy Annual.
One foot.
Flowers pink, crimson or white, in July and August.
Has yellow centred flowers on slender stalks;
the petals rose or white, have the dry quality
which belongs to “everlastings”.
If
gathered in good condition the flowers will act
as “Chimney ornaments” all the winter. Sow
the seed in mild heat in March, and bring on in
the manner of half-hardy annuals, finally planting
out in May.
