Sweet
Sultan
Hardy Annual.
Eighteen inches.
Flowers white, purple or yellow, in July and August.
An annual with flowers in globular heads of narrow
petals, somewhat in the way of the Centaureas.
It is in some soils curiously troublesome to raise
and flower. Sow in patches on beds of fine soil
early in April, or in the end of August to stand
the winter. Thin out, and allow to flower where
sown.
